Heart’s Home is an in­ter­na­tion­al NGO, found­ed in France in 1990 by Rev. Thierry de Roucy.

Operating in 18 coun­tries, Heart’s Home’s mis­sion is:

Train and send young vol­un­teers to leave for 1 or 2 years in the cen­ter of a de­prived area, to be­friend the lone­ly and iso­lat­ed trough a per­son­al one-on-one com­pas­sion­ate ap­proach and to work with the poor, the most wound­ed and re­ject­ed peo­ple in the world.

To gen­er­ate and pro­mote a “cul­ture of com­pas­sion” which af­firms the in­trin­sic val­ue of ev­ery per­son at all levels of so­ci­ety through var­i­ous ini­tia­tives in the cor­po­rate, po­lit­i­cal, sci­en­tific and artis­tic spheres.
